i love music. don't you?
what would i do without it? not to sound corny, although i am, but it just inspires me, to feel something real or experience something real.
for instance bjork. I mean if you haven't discovered her yet, just try. just listen to one song. it will be a beautiful experiences i promise. she is like a fairy angel, and her voicecan be so tiny and haunting one minute than wa boom. you fall in love
or radiohead. give them a whirl. they are fucked up and ingenious.they are the music makers, they are the dreamers of the dreams
why not give amon tobin a spin. hes fucking awesome, jazz beats and electronica and some fucked up weird ambience, creates a weird scary beauty that will make you think you are freaking out or on drugs. its ultrasensitive nerve grinding fun buddy. don't be scared of it.
portishead. i feel like they are drowning me, but in a good way, like i'm not thinking cleary and have just woken up from a groggy dream.
not to ride the bandwagon, but weezer is a good band. don't let the green album turn you off, because pinkerton and blue not to mention their b-sides (my favorite is JAMIE!) really do make the shit hit the fan. swear.
i love tool. when i was younger i thought it was a super dooper heavy metal band and never paid any attention to them, but tool is fucking crazy. maynard is like 5 feet tall but he can scream like a monster in heat. he will make yo want to punch the windsheild in a fit of unfettered beauty. k?
i love the beatles. i know they are typical but that doesn't make them bad. they changed music. you gotta respect that. plus abbey road is just too undeniabley fucking awesome. so shutup.
