Who knew that the same channel that brought you A Baby Story, could also bring you nightmares?

I just got done watching a show on The Learning Channel called "Buried Alive". The show started out by telling you how ever since the beginning of time, one of mans greatest fears has been to be buried alive.

Now personally, until then I had never really thought about it...but as the show went on, it documented hundreds of cases of people who had been pronounced dead - only to wake up in a morgue sorounded by dead people.

The way this happened is that these people had supposedly failed all signs of life, physically, - they were unable to move, to blink, to talk, there pulse had ceased to beat ect, but they claimed to still be able to hear everything going on around them. It was life there mind could work but nothing else.

A lady on the show described it as being trapped inside herself. She layed on the cold mortuary table for hours trying to coax herself to come out of the physical coma before she was actually able to.

So this in mind it seems kinda possible that one could be buried alive.

Well actually not, considering that before you are buried you are embalmed, which i am pretty sure you can't survive...but just imagine being completley aware of everything but totally unable to communicate anything.

Holy shit

I am never watching late night TLC again.

a girl like me ponders these things. Too much

great
